A. Purpose and coverageKatuyoan ug sakop
These guidelines establish the responsibilities of pet owners and the procedures for addressing animal-related concerns within Citta di Oro. They apply to homeowners, residents, tenants, other occupants, and persons handling pets within the subdivision. Their purpose is to protect community safety, sanitation, peaceful enjoyment, and animal welfare.
Section E.9 of the Deed of Restrictions, entitled “Pets and Animals,” provides that:
“No cattle, pig, sheep, goat, horse, chicken, goose, or other animals shall be maintained on the lot. However, the keeping of dogs, cats, or other pets in non-commercial quantities may be allowed, subject to the rules and regulations that the Homeowners Association may adopt.”
These guidelines implement that provision and are to be applied consistently with Republic Act No. 9482, the Anti-Rabies Act of 2007, Republic Act No. 8485 as amended by Republic Act No. 10631, and applicable local rules.

- Registered pets must wear their HOA-issued collar tags at all times when outside the property. (OPTIONAL)
C. Regular monitoringRegular nga monitoring

- Letting pets defecate on neighbors’ lawns, driveways, sidewalks, or subdivision common areas without immediate cleanup is punishable by fine.
- Pet cages, pens, and lawns must be cleaned daily to prevent foul odors from disturbing neighbors.
- A person walking a pet shall carry appropriate cleaning materials, such as:
- Waste bags

- Leaving pet food, scraps, or water bowl stations in subdivision streets, sidewalks, vacant lots, or park is strictly prohibited.

- Residents who wish to care for a stray animal must take full ownership of the animal by bringing it inside their private property, having it vaccinated against rabies, and registering it under Section B of these guidelines.
- Authorized Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) or animal welfare initiatives managed by the HOA board are the only exceptions to this rule and will be conducted in designated, controlled areas.
